David Walters Celebrates the Presentation of
The King’s Award for Enterprise

On Friday 21st of November, we were delighted to gather at Sudbury Silk Mills to welcome Clare, Countess of Euston, HM Lord-Lieutenancy of Suffolk, for the formal presentation of The King’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development. Joined by members of the Suffolk Lieutenancy, the Countess toured the mill to see first-hand the blend of craftmanship and responsible production that underpins our work.

The King’s Award for Enterprise acknowledges the long-term progress made across the mill in areas such as waste reduction, energy efficiency and responsible sourcing.

For David Walters, sustainability is a continuous journey, shaped by the expertise and commitment of the teams who contribute towards the production of our fabric. The visit provided an opportunity to reflect how far we have come, and to look ahead to future developments across our product offering and manufacturing practices.

We look forward to supporting our clients and partners with textiles that combine craftmanship and responsible manufacturing.
