“I am a Textile Design student at the University of Nottingham Trent specialising in woven fabrics. I have a passion for innovation, texture and materials.

The design takes inspiration from present and past family heritage, and a childhood growing up near the sea. The visual research is inspired by the lapels of naval officer rankings, creating a fun abstract design for soft furnishing for a marine setting. The design links to the Royal Navy, the sea and the adventurers among us.”
